Kirby Lane - Venue of Nelson's First Mākete Pō

Working with The Social of Ministry Development, WestPacGrow RegionsNgati KuiaWhakatu MaraeUniquely Nelson was extremely exciting and something we've never done before. We met key people who are passionate about our region and bringing the community together. Our heart was always to be an event space where we could host events just like this.

The entire night was to showcase Maori Businesses. We had hundreds of people come throughout enjoy and celebrate Te Ao Māori. The night market offered a range of Māori arts and crafts, food and other products. It was the first of its kind in Nelson and we truly hope we can make it a regular market. We're so proud to see collaborative initiatives take off in our space and that the Nelson Community can utilise a pocket park. Here are some highlights.
